About David Barnes

A Dallas, TX-based private wealth manager, David Barnes holds a bachelors in mechanical engineering and a master of business administration degree with a concentration in finance from the University of Texas at Austin. David Barnes also served on the finance committee of his undergraduate alma mater, the University of Oklahoma, leading its transformation from one of the worst performing University Foundations to a place among the top 5 percent of Foundations in the United States. For the past three years, David Barnes has served as a managing director with the global financial services company and investment bank UBS based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Outside of the professional arena, he has supported a range of annual fundraising events, including the Dallas cancer research benefit Cattle Baron’s Ball. He has also made large financial contributions to initiatives that support Armstrong Elementary School and Highland Park Presbyterian Day School.
